Nirakar Chaitanya is a Sanskrit term derived from two words, ‘Nirakar’ and ‘Chaitanya’. The literal meaning of ‘Nirakar’ is ‘formless’ while ‘Chaitanya’ means ‘consciousness’. Hence, the term ‘Nirakar Chaitanya’ means ‘formless consciousness’. It is a concept in Hinduism which refers to the state of the absolute, pure and infinite consciousness.
Nirakar Chaitanya is believed to be the ultimate reality that exists beyond the physical world and is the source from which all Creation arises. It is considered to be the primordial energy which is the basis of all existence. It is also said to be the source of all knowledge and wisdom. It is said to be both eternal and indestructible, and is beyond the reach of human understanding.
Nirakar Chaitanya is believed to be the true nature of the human soul or Atman. It is the ultimate state of pure consciousness which one can attain through meditation and spiritual practices. It is believed that attaining Nirakar Chaitanya can help one to experience inner peace and bliss, and ultimately lead to enlightenment.
